Product Description

Farrow & Ball Calamine No.230 is a subtle pink named after the calamine lotion used to soothe nettle stings and rashes. A light touch of grey stops it becoming too sugary and gives a fresher finish.

Farrow & Ball pair Calamine with All White as its complementary white, and list it as an accent colour for their Contemporary Neutrals. Their suggested schemes combine it with Brinjal and London Clay, Wimborne White and Great White, or Skimming Stone and Elephant's Breath.

What colour is Farrow & Ball Calamine?

Calamine is a delicate pink with a touch of grey. Farrow & Ball say the light touch of grey stops it from being too sugary, giving a much fresher finish.

Where to use Farrow & Ball Calamine No.230

Farrow & Ball note that Calamine becomes intense in smaller rooms, while in larger, well lit rooms it feels much more delicate.

Choose Estate Emulsion or Modern Emulsion for walls and ceilings, Dead Flat for a completely flat look across walls and woodwork, and Flat Eggshell, Modern Eggshell or Full Gloss for woodwork and cabinets. For exteriors, choose Exterior Masonry or Exterior Eggshell for breathable, weather-resistant performance. Casein Distemper, Soft Distemper and Limewash are also available in this colour.
