Product Description

Farrow & Ball Light Blue No.22 is a light, silvery blue. It takes its name from being the lightest blue in Farrow & Ball's first collection of colours.

Farrow & Ball pair Light Blue with School House White as its complementary white. Their suggested schemes combine it with Mouse's Back and Hague Blue, Shaded White and Drop Cloth, or School House White and Drop Cloth.

Is Light Blue more blue or silver?

Farrow & Ball describe Light Blue as a silvery blue, and say it becomes a little more silver in tone when used in shaded areas.

Where to use Farrow & Ball Light Blue No.22

Farrow & Ball say Light Blue is very popular on the walls of internal halls, especially where the rest of the house is painted in cooler, more neutral greys. In well lit areas it feels peaceful and calming, particularly alongside a cool white such as Blackened.

Choose Estate Emulsion or Modern Emulsion for walls and ceilings, Dead Flat for a completely flat look across walls and woodwork, and Flat Eggshell, Modern Eggshell or Full Gloss for woodwork and cabinets. For exteriors, choose Exterior Masonry or Exterior Eggshell for breathable, weather-resistant performance. Casein Distemper, Soft Distemper and Limewash are also available in this colour.
