Product Description

Farrow & Ball Dimity No.2008 is a very pale taupe named after the lightweight cotton fabric originally used to make bustles, and now more commonly used for bedding. Pale and subdued, it is brimming with warmth and an unmatchable depth.

One of the brand's Warm Neutrals, Dimity can be combined with All White and Pointing to read pinker, or with the darker Oxford Stone on woodwork for a slightly aged look and relaxed feel. Pointing is its complementary white, and Farrow & Ball also suggest it with Red Earth and London Stone.

Does Dimity look pink?

It depends what you pair it with. Farrow & Ball describe Dimity as a very pale taupe, and say it reads pinker when combined with All White and Pointing, or takes on a slightly aged, relaxed look with the darker Oxford Stone on woodwork.

Where to use Farrow & Ball Dimity No.2008

Farrow & Ball describe Dimity as perfect for elegant and understated hallways. Combine it with All White and Pointing for a pinker look, or with the darker Oxford Stone on woodwork for a slightly aged look and relaxed feel.

Choose Estate Emulsion or Modern Emulsion for walls and ceilings, Dead Flat for a completely flat look across walls and woodwork, or Flat Eggshell and Modern Eggshell for durable, scrubbable woodwork and cabinets. For exteriors, choose Exterior Masonry or Exterior Eggshell for breathable, weather-resistant performance.
