Sadolin Classic Wood Protection is a versatile, solvent-based, low-build woodstain designed to offer deep penetration and lasting protection for both interior and exterior timber. Its advanced formulation soaks into the wood’s surface to create a flexible, microporous barrier that allows moisture vapour to escape while shielding the timber from rain, UV exposure, and general weathering. This breathable protection helps prevent peeling, blistering, and cracking, making it particularly well-suited to timber surfaces exposed to changing environmental conditions.
Ideal for large or rough-sawn timber areas, Sadolin Classic is commonly used on cladding, decking, fencing, garden furniture, and exterior joinery such as doors. It enhances the wood’s natural character by enriching its grain with a translucent, natural-looking finish. Additionally, it serves as an effective base coat for high-performance topcoats such as Sadolin Extra Durable Woodstain or Sadolin Extra Durable Clearcoat, especially when preparing new or bare wood.
