Earthborn Bonding Primer

Earthborn Bonding Primer is specially formulated to prepare previously painted but sound exterior masonry surfaces for recoating with Earthborn Silicate Masonry Paint. By creating a stable and consistent base, it helps ensure excellent adhesion and a uniform finish. This primer acts as a bridge between non-mineral surfaces and silicate paint, enhancing durability and weather resistance. It is ideal for use on exterior render, brick, or stone that has already been treated with conventional coatings and cannot be stripped back to bare substrate.

For new or porous mineral surfaces, Earthborn recommends using their Silicate Primer instead, as it is designed to soak in and bond with uncoated masonry to facilitate proper mineral paint application. Always assess the surface condition carefully to choose the appropriate primer.
