Thompson’s One Coat Damp Seal is a solvent-based coating formulated to permanently seal damp stains on interior walls and ceilings. It is designed for ease of use, requiring only a single coat to block unsightly marks caused by moisture ingress. The product dries to a smooth, white finish and can be overpainted with standard decorative topcoats after just 4 hours, making it suitable for rapid turnaround projects.

It is important to note that while Thompson’s One Coat Damp Seal effectively blocks stains and prevents them from reappearing, it is not a substitute for addressing the underlying source of moisture. For long-term results, any structural or ventilation issues contributing to damp should be investigated and rectified prior to application.
