Sikkens Cetol HLS Plus

Sikkens Cetol HLS Plus is a solvent-borne, semi-transparent woodstain designed for exterior use on both softwoods and hardwoods. It is a low build coating, allowing the natural grain and texture of the wood to remain visible, while providing initial protection against weathering. Suitable substrates include cladding, fascias, soffits, fencing, rough sawn timber, and components subject to high abrasion, such as decking and garden furniture.

This product is primarily intended for use as a base stain, forming part of a system when followed by a higher build topcoat such as Cetol Filter 7 Plus. While Cetol HLS Plus may be used alone, it is not recommended as a standalone finish for hardwood joinery, where additional protection is required. It is important to follow the full Sikkens system for optimum durability and performance.
