Sadolin Polyurethane Floor Varnish is a premium-grade, water-based clear varnish explicitly engineered to provide exceptional protection and aesthetic enhancement for interior wooden flooring and stairs. Its formulation combines polyurethane and acrylic resins to deliver a remarkably tough, abrasion-resistant finish that can withstand high foot traffic, spills, stains, and scuffs - ideal for busy homes and public spaces.
Suitable for hardwood, softwood boards, and parquet (excluding laminate), this varnish forms a crystal-clear film in either satin or gloss finish that resists yellowing over time. It offers excellent flow and levelling, helping to achieve an even, professional-quality surface. With a practical coverage rate of up to 15 m² per litre, it’s both cost-effective and efficient.
With very low odour and VOC levels, this water-borne formula promotes a safer working environment . Its fast‑dry properties - touch-dry in 1-2 hours and recoatable within 2-4 hours - allow multiple coats to be completed in a single day, helping streamline project timelines. A fully cured surface is typically ready for use within 24 hours, though heavy furniture should be delayed for up to 7 days for optimal hardness and protection.
