Product description

Repair Care Dry Flex 16 is an elastic repair compound tailored for substantial timber repairs and splicing, with the added benefit of being paintable after 16 hours*. This versatile solution is an excellent choice for the enduring repair of decayed and damaged wood, making it particularly suitable for sizable repairs and projects without time constraints. It serves various purposes, encompassing the permanent restoration of decayed or rotten wood in elements such as windows, doors, fascias/soffits, stairs, and furniture, along with providing quick emergency repairs, addressing cracks and gaps, and accommodating both internal and external applications.

Repair Care Dry Flex 16's features include an impressively extended application period of up to 2 hours at 20ºC, allowing for precise work. Its application is straightforward, offering quick and efficient results with remarkable modelling qualities and resistance to slumping. The resulting repairs maintain a permanent, elastic quality that harmonizes with the natural movement of timber, ensuring longevity. Notably, it features a shortened curing time, enabling sanding and painting after just 16 hours*, and once cured, it emulates wood properties, enabling planing, sawing, nailing, screwing, painting, and staining.

Repair Care Dry Flex 16's versatility extends to large repairs, and its optimal processing temperature range spans from 10 to 35ºC, accommodating various conditions for optimal performance, with a recommended repair thickness ranging from 5 to 50 mm.

*Curing time based on a typical 1cm thick repair applied at 20ºC; curing times are subject to temperature and humidity effects.
