Hammerite Red Oxide Primer

Hammerite Red Oxide Primer is specifically designed for use on bare and rusty iron and steel surfaces. This primer provides a strong base that enhances the adhesion of subsequent topcoats while offering protection against rust and corrosion. It is particularly effective at preparing metal surfaces for painting, ensuring a long-lasting and durable finish.

For surfaces made of aluminium, galvanised metal, or other non-ferrous metals, it is recommended to use Hammerite Special Metals Primer instead. This alternative primer is formulated to adhere to non-ferrous surfaces, providing a reliable base coat that ensures proper paint adhesion and long-term protection.
