Product Description

Dulux Trade Weathershield Preservative Primer is a water-based, clear wood treatment designed to provide a strong foundation for exterior timber protection. Specially developed to deeply penetrate bare wood, it seals and stabilises the surface in preparation for painting, ensuring long-term performance of subsequent coatings in the Weathershield system.

The preservative formula actively guards against moisture ingress, helping to prevent water damage, decay, and unsightly blue stain fungi. Ideal for use on softwoods and hardwoods prior to painting, this primer delivers up to 8 years of all-weather protection when used as part of the complete Dulux Weathershield system—making it a reliable choice for preserving the natural integrity and appearance of exterior woodwork.
