Dulux Aluminium Wood Primer

Dulux Trade Aluminium Wood Primer is a solvent-based primer formulated with aluminium pigment, offering excellent adhesion and sealing properties for both interior and exterior timber surfaces. It is particularly effective on resinous softwoods and hardwoods, providing a robust base that helps prevent staining and enhances the durability of subsequent paint layers.

This primer is also suitable for sealing aged creosoted or bitumen-coated surfaces, improving paint adhesion and finish longevity. Additionally, it serves as the recommended first coat in a two-coat system when using Dulux Trade Aluminium Paint on timber. Its specialised formulation makes it ideal for demanding environments where traditional primers may not be effective.
