Brushmate Trade 20

Brushmate Trade 20 Brush Storage System is a professional‑grade tool designed to keep brushes and rollers ready for reuse over periods of hours or days without the need for repeated cleaning. It’s particularly useful for trade painters and decorators working with solvent‑based paints, varnishes and enamels, or for DIYers on multi‑day projects.

The Trade 20 system comprises a compact storage box fitted with a special brush flange and cap system that seals around brush handles. Inside the box sits Brushmate Fluid (sold separately), which slowly evaporates to create a solvent‑rich atmosphere that helps keep paint on the bristles from skinning over and drying out. This environment allows brushes to stay moist and workable between coats or between work sessions, saving time and reducing wear from repeated cleaning.

Designed with durability and convenience in mind, the unit has a sturdy outer case that helps prevent spills while transporting or storing brushes. The internal holder accommodates a range of brush sizes and rollers, and the sealing flange fits snugly around handles to maintain an effective vapour chamber. The system is best used with solvent‑based coatings and the appropriate Brushmate Fluid, as it relies on solvent vapour to prevent drying.
