Brushmate Fluid

Brushmate Fluid is a formulated refill fluid designed for use in Brushmate Trade 20  to help keep paint brushes and rollers moist and ready for use between painting sessions. When placed in the storage unit, the fluid evaporates very slowly and fills the container with a heavier‑than‑air solvent vapour. This solvent vapour helps prevent the paint on brushes from drying out and forming a film on the bristles, which normally happens as solvents evaporate and polymerisation begins. By maintaining the moisture and pliability of the paint on the brush, it reduces the need for frequent cleaning when switching between coats of oil‑based paints or varnishes.

The product is supplied as a clear liquid that simply replaces the empty bottle in your Brushmate unit. As the vapour envelops stored brushes, it helps inhibit solvent loss and paint drying on the bristles, prolonging brush life and keeping them ready for immediate reuse without re‑conditioning.
