Stix Waterborne Bonding Primer is a premium-quality, waterborne, acrylic-urethane primer/sealer that provides unrivaled adhesion to even the most challenging surfaces. It can be used on a wide range of surfaces, including PVC, vinyl, plastic, glass, tile, glazed block, glossy paints, pre-coated siding, fiberglass, and galvanized metals.
It is also ideal for use on surfaces such as plaster, drywall, wood, and nonferrous metals, where conventional primers might struggle with low ambient or surface temperatures. When cured, Stix produces an extremely hard film. It can be top-coated with almost any type of coating, including alkyd, acrylic latex, urethane, epoxy, and lacquer finishes.
Stix levels to a smooth surface and cleans up easily with soap and water. It is suitable for both interior and exterior use and can be used on a wide variety of surfaces, including drywall, plaster, ceiling, acoustical tile, wood trim and doors, formica, ceramic tiles, glossy surfaces, PVC plastic, masonry walls, wood siding, cedar and redwood, wood fences, trim, shutters, masonry, stucco, concrete, cement block, galvanized metal, and aluminum.
Stix's range of features is impressive, including its acrylic-urethane bonding primer-sealer, unparalleled adhesion to challenging surfaces, the ability to cure in temperatures as low as 1.5°C, and excellent enamel holdout. It is easy to sand and has a low odor, making it a practical choice for a variety of applications.
