Benjamin Moore Fresh Start High Hide Primer is a superior quality, multi-surface 100% acrylic primer that is suitable for both interior and exterior use. It is specifically designed to deliver maximum hide and ensure a uniform finish, making it the product of choice when a significant colour change is required.
One of the key benefits of this product is its superior adhesion, which makes it more forgiving over difficult substrates. Additionally, it is an excellent all-round stain blocker and is effective in sealing and suppressing most bleeding type stains. However, in cases of severe bleeding, a solvent-based primer should be used to prevent stains from reappearing.
For interior use, this primer can be used on a range of surfaces including new or previously painted wood, plywood, drywall, ceiling tile, Formica, Masonite, ceramic tile, and cured plaster. When using it for exterior purposes, it is recommended to use it on new or previously painted wood, fibre-cement board, hardboard siding, aluminium, galvanized, cured masonry, and previously coated ferrous metal surfaces.
Other features of this product include great flow and levelling, fast drying, low VOC and low odour, mildew resistance, soap and water clean up, and availability in white with a low sheen finish. Overall, this 100% acrylic primer is a high-performing, versatile product that can provide excellent results on a variety of surfaces.
