Barrettine Boiled Linseed Oil is crafted by blending natural linseed oil, extracted from flaxseed, with drying agents to enhance drying speed. This specialized formulation deeply infiltrates unsealed wood surfaces, bestowing a naturally water-resistant coating. Over time, the finish develops a subtly enriched hue, contributing to its aged appeal. This product is designed for the treatment of various types of untreated wood, primarily for indoor applications and Woodcare purposes. It's important to note that it's not suitable for use on Oak, furniture, or flooring.
Furthermore, this oil serves as a time-honored solution for sealing terracotta tiles and other porous substrates. It also offers the versatility of being combined with burnt sand, resulting in a caulking substance ideal for filling gaps between timber and masonry.
