Sadolin PV67 Heavy Duty Varnish is a professional-grade, two-pack solvent-based varnish engineered to deliver exceptional durability and resilience on interior timber surfaces subject to heavy wear. With both satin and gloss clear finishes available, it is ideally suited for high-traffic environments - including dance floors, gymnasiums, hallways, and bar or worktop surfaces - where slip resistance, abrasion protection, and ease of maintenance are paramount.

This high-performance varnish combines robust chemical resistance (notably against alcohol and everyday household chemicals) with an aggressive protection profile, making it perfect for commercial and residential settings alike. 

The PV67 system cures rapidly, becoming touch-dry in around 30 minutes and recoatable within 2-4 hours, allowing for up to three complete coats in a single working day - even over a basecoat of Sadolin Classic Wood Protection.

Superior Colour Retention

Exposure to sunlight and the weather causes conventional woodstains to fade over time. Sadolin products use specially selected light-filtering pigments to promote longer-lasting colours.

Easy Maintenance

The longer wood is exposed to the elements, the greater the risk of conventional woodstains blistering and peeling. Applying a new coat will require extensive sanding and preparation if wood is weathered. Because Sadolin products are specially developed to weather naturally, applying a fresh coat requires only minimal preparation, reducing time, expense and labour.

Breathable Microporosity

Some woodstains are waterproof – but they can also prevent natural moisture in the wood from passing through. This can make wood swell up, breaking the bond between the coating and the wood. The benefit is greater, longer lasting protection for your wood.
